WHAT: Spring Nature Outing #1 — East Granville Road Community Park
WHEN: Wednesday, 3/7 — 10:00a-1:00p
WHERE: East Granville Road Park
MEETING LOCATION: Playground
WEATHER: Temperatures in the mid-to-high 30s with a very slight chance of snow.
BRING: Warm, cozy clothes as this Nature Outing will be held outdoors, your nature journaling supplies, and a packed lunch (if weather permits us to eat outdoors)!
DETAILS: This park only has one small parking lot, so please be prepared to street park if needed. This is a sweet, little, wooded park within the city. It’s perfect for very short hikes, fort building, and independent natural play since the park is contained and not very spread out. Bring walkie-talkies if you’d like to let your child(ren) have a bit of independence as they explore. After our exploration time, we'll work in our Nature Journals and then either eat lunch and have some free play or if we need to warm up, we'll look for a place to grab lunch together inside!
POLICY REMINDER: Families must stay together — parents are responsible for their own their children at all times. Thanks in advance for understanding.
RSVP: This is very important! We need to know exactly who is coming so we are sure to not leave anyone behind or spend time waiting for a family that isn't coming! PLEASE send a quick email to email@example.com or respond to the Facebook event and let us know if your family is planning on coming!
