book club celebration: the hobbit

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

WHAT: Book Club Celebration for The Hobbit

WHEN: Wednesday, 11/6 — 10:00a-12:00p

DETAILS: It’s finally time to gather and celebrate the wonderful story we’ve been reading this autumn, The Hobbit! We don’t want to spoil all the surprises we have planned for this morning, but you can expect delicious treats, free play centered on events and locations in the book, and a sweet themed handicraft to take home as a memento of our time together! Of course, we’ll cap off our morning with a family discussion of this tale! As we release the younger kids to play, we’ll have an extended discussion with our teens (ages 13 and up) to dive a bit deeper into what we’ve read this season!

REGISTER: Because of the intimate nature of this event, we are limiting our headcount to 20 families. The first twenty families to complete the payment process for the $5 family fee will reserve their space for this event. Those who complete the payment process for the family fee will be sent the address/directions to our meeting location and a small list of what to bring to the event. If all spots are filled, we will start a waiting list.

Check out our Book Club page for more details on Reading Schedules, Discussion Questions, and Activity Suggestions, and more!

Registration closes at 10:00pm on Wednesday, October 30th.
